My skin’s been super dry of late. Of course my summery skincare products just weren’t cutting it (bye bye, oil-free moisturizers…). Even my fall/transition-y moisturizer was leaving my skin lacking hydration.
What’s annoying is that my skin isn’t even that dry, usually. Normally my skin is combination with oilier zones in the summer, but this fall the oily areas have been under control (yay!), but I’ve been seeing dry patches between my eyebrows and around my nose and mouth (boo).
I received the Origins Make a Difference Plus Moisturizer as a gift with purchase when I was buying a Christmas present for a family member. I’ve always thought the Make a Difference line would be too hydrating for me, but apparently not. The big draw with this line is that it contains Rose of Jericho, which binds moisture from the air to the skin. I have the hand cream from this line, and really love it. I had never tried any of the face creams, but now I’m glad I did. My skin just drinks it up, and I’ve yet to see any of the dry patches resurface since I started using it.
What’s nice is that the tube is 30mL, while the regular size is 50mL and retails for about $50. So you end up with about $30 worth of product, which should last me a good long while. I think I’ve found my new HG winter moisturizer!
