Colour correcting is all over Instagram. Brands are taking advantage of this trend by making it the focus of their advertising campaigns and launching new products. I love a trend as much as the next person, but these things inevitably get taken too far. I don’t wanna say that it’s Instagram’s fault
but it’s Instagram’s fault.
I actually purchased these eyeshadows back in November – I know, I know – but it has literally taken me this long to develop conclusive thoughts on them.
Clarins is killing it in the lip department and they don’t get nearly enough credit for it.
I know, I know. You’re probably thoroughly tired of hearing how much I love these, but I just can’t stop. Recently, new shades of Tanya Burr Lip Glosses were released on FeelUnique, and I just couldn’t help picking up two new ones and an older shade that I had been eyeing.
When this palette came out, beauty bloggers everywhere collectively died of excitement.
Usually, when I spend $40+ on a beauty product, it’s a palette of some sort.
But in recent years, I’ve been occasionally spending more than I’d care to admit on luxury lip products that make MAC lipsticks look cheap.
YSL beauty products are about as high end luxury as I’ll go, and I fully acknowledge that the prices are ridiculous. We’re talking around $40 for a lipstick, and $50 for the famous Touche Éclat.
