Anastasia Beverly Hills Mini Liquid Lipstick Set – Dazed, Hudson, and Bittersweet – Swatches on Dark Skin

I have a love-hate relationship with ABH liquid lipsticks. I ordered them from the ABH site when they first came out – before Sephora carried the whole line – and found them to be super drying, patchy, and prone to crumbling and flaking.

Every so often I fall in love with a colour from them and pick it up, though, and I’ve been pleasantly surprised to find that they’ve since improved their formula. It’s still super-matte, but now it’s thin, lightweight, and feels surprisingly comfortable all day. It wore well, too, looking fresh and pigmented all day.

Anastasia Beverly Hills’ Holiday 2017 Mini Liquid Lipstick Set is right up my alley, colour-wise. #noodz

Yes, *Another* Anastasia Beverly Hills Subculture Palette Review – Swatches on Dark Skin

Y’know, when the photos of the palette were first leaked, I wasn’t that interested. I love me some warm shadows, so Modern Renaissance is definitely more my jam. But then #Subculturegate2017 happened, making this THE most controversial palette to release this year, and I had to get in on it. So I picked the palette up when it was released in stores and gave it a good solid try before weighing in.

Givenchy Noir Interdit Mascara Review

Here’s the thing – sometimes I like gimmicks, and sometimes I don’t. I like them if they work and make sense, and I dislike them if they don’t. In a mascara market that’s completely saturated, brands only have the formula, the brush, and the packaging to set themselves apart from the competition. So I don’t blame Givenchy for creating the Noir Interdit Mascara and equipping it with a wand that bends at a 90 degree angle.

Glossier Milky Jelly Cleanser and Balm Dot Com Review

As a brand, Glossier is kinda taking the beauty world by storm. Although I’ve become an Into the Gloss reader only recently, the brand’s youthful packaging, curated selection of products, and emphasis on skincare caught my attention long before they started shipping to Canada. Only recently have I been able to get my hands on a few of the products that most caught my attention: the Milky Jelly Cleanser and Balm Dot Com in Coconut.

Sephora Collection PRO Warm Palette – Review and Swatches on Dark Skin

Like the rest of the makeup-wearing human population, I love a warm-toned palette. Gimme dem oranges, rusts, yellows, and berries any day. But when I saw the Sephora Collection PRO Warm Palette, I had some mixed feelings. Sure the colours were gorgeous, but that $85 price tag? Sephora Collection is to Sephora what Great Value is to Walmart. Mentally, I couldn’t justify the price. But then I swatched it. And I was obsessed.

Bite Beauty Amuse Bouche Liquified Lipstick Review – Lip Swatches on Dark Skin

I really like Bite Beauty, and their Amuse Bouche formula is easily one of the more comfortable ones on the market. So when Influenster sent me Bite’s new Amuse Bouche Liquified Lipstick complimentary for my review, I was pretty excited and confident I’d like the formula. In reality, my opinion is kind of mixed on the whole thing.

I was sent three shades to review: Demi-Glace is a chocolatey mauve, Éclair is a midtone rose, and Flambé is a bright, orangey red.
