I’m easing into brights on my tips for spring and summer, and I’m doing it by throwing the occasional coral or hot pink into my usual pastel-and-nude rotation. One such shade is ‘Grapefruit’ from Barry M’s Gelly Nail Paints.
Like other shades in the line, this one is opaque, pigmented, and bright. It wears well; it’s been on my nails for five days and I only see one chip and barely-there tip wear.
What I really love about this line of polishes is the thickness and shine; they really look like gel nails without the fuss of foil and acetone to remove them. The brush is also really wide and lovely, and it doesn’t hurt that it costs £3.99. The downside is that they’re extremely difficult to acquire outside of the UK, but for my British readers, get yourselves down to Boots and try this formula if you haven’t already!
